Sapa chooses SolTech Energy as exclusive supplier of all solar cell products in the Nordic and Baltic regions

 

After a lengthy evaluation of several different suppliers, Sapa Building Systems AB has chosen SolTech Energy as supplier of solar cells for integration in its various aluminum profile products. The company has undersigned an exclusive co-operation contract covering the Nordic and Baltic regions. Sapa Building Systems annual sales in these regions exceed 550 MSEK ($ … ), and the potential market for these integrated products is deemed to be extensive

Sapa Building Systems, which is part of the Sapa Group with annual sales totaling approximately 44 billion NOK (Norwegian crowns/ ca. 43 billion SEK/ ca. $5 billion US)*, markets through a network of retailers. The contract with SolTech makes it possible (for Sapa) to offer retailers the company’s integrated products – installed and clear for use – available at an attractive price structure within the commercial building sector.  Said co-operation is to start immediately with joint educational efforts launched to better inform Sapa’s retailers, along with direct sale approaches already developed interests.

Public launch to the market will take place at the Nordic region’s biggest “Construction, VVS* and Real Estate” convention, Nordbygg 2016, held in Stockholm from the 5th to the 8th of April 2016.
