There are ocasions where poly or Monocrystalline solar cells are a better choice than thin-film, and this generally occurs when the esthetic demands are not quite so high or where maximum energy production per installed square meter is the number one priority demand. Our deliberated choice in such cases is to cooperate with one of the world’s most established solar cell manufacturers: Trinasolar. In 2017, they supplied over 9,000 MW globally. Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) has selected Trinasolar to ”Tier 1” among solar cell manufacturers. This indicates that the company has conducted a sufficient number of successful global installations and been approved by large international bankers who finance larger solar energy projects..
We work, first and foremost, with two panels. One is a Monocrystalline black panel that carries a somewhat higher price, but is clearly more esthetically attractive. The other, a blue polycrystalline solar cell, from both an economic and quality standpoint, is a good choice when the primary aim is to produce as much energy as possible per square meter of available surface.
